Resources

I have an extensive array of resources to assist you. Ranging from books on ceremony ideas to the customs and traditions allied to marriage ceremonies, once you book me as your celebrant, what I have – you have!

These are available to clients only, to assist with their wedding planning.

Some of the resources developed through NT Celebrants includes:

  • Countdown to your wedding day! – this booklet provides a countdown of most of the necessary tasks in preparation for your wedding day, starting at 12 months prior, and counting down till the day before. Open the example, to see what you might need to consider, six months before you marry.
  • Engagement and Wedding Traditions and Customs – this is a popular booklet as it outlines the many engagement and wedding traditions that have become embedded in traditional wedding ceremonies over the ages. Do you want to know why brides traditionally wear a veil? Why is it luckier to marry on a Monday, rather than a Saturday?
  • Poems and Verses for Readings (Books 1 and 2) – these booklets contain many of the more popular readings used in weddings, recommitment ceremonies and renewing of vows. Many of these are in the public domain, but where possible, authors have been identified and permissions granted for use in ceremonies.
